Building from Blocks (Two Sided Blocks)

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder

But lo and behold, eyes change as you get older

Personal preference is a funny thing

My personal standards are maddening

Wanting something you don’t know how to get

Is subtly different from wanting what you can’t have

But no matter what you can’t get it. Get it?

Stuck, unable to move forward

The frustration and the pain

You could abandon and start again

The regret and the pain

Regret and pain are the only guarantees either way

Because either way you can always get stuck again

Sometimes something new can get you somewhere, somehow

It can even get you progress

It can help you go backwards to go forwards

It can help you go forwards and then backwards

Old or new, it’s never good to be stuck

To be still, stranded, stalled, stagnant

Not moving, unmoving

Moving on is hard

But moving gets momentum

So move. It doesn’t matter where or how. Just move.

Stop being stuck.

Simple.
